Liège Inside is an independent digital cultural mediation project. It allows exploring the heritage of the Cité Ardente through immersive 360° panoramas, each accompanied by an AI guide that goes beyond the traditional label.
The project is entirely self-funded, with no advertising. It is not an official site of the institutions represented — La Boverie, the Prince-Bishops' Palace, the Royal Opera of Wallonia, the Cathedral Treasury of Saint-Paul, and the other venues.
The 360° panoramas are photographed and assembled by Thierry Lechanteur using specialised equipment. Each artwork has a dedicated AI guide, powered by Anthropic's Claude API and fed by documentary research written by hand. The guide does not replace official labels: it enriches them with historical context, anecdotes, and connections between works.
